Stationary Roulette
Objective: Guess the right color and stop the opponent from doing the same!
Setup
1) There are 10 rounds lasting 24h each
2) Before the first round is a Preparation Phase lasting 24h to prepare the first roulette, see section "Gameplay" below for more information
Gameplay
1) During each round, players prepare a roulette for the opponent to bet and bet on the opponent's roulette via PM to the Dealer. A roulette has three colors: Gold, Silver, and Black.
2) Players must place a total of 80 points each round. Of these, 40 points go to setting up a roulette for next round and the other 40 points go to betting on the opponent's roulette this round.
3) The Dealer will activate the roulette prepared by the opponent during the previous round for the current round of betting.
4) To prepare a roulette, players PM the Dealer with the following information:
4a) The winning color for the roulette the player will prepare for the opponent. Note that players can only prepare any given color as winning up to five times throughout the game.
4b) Set 40 initial points on the colors. Gold must have at least 25 points, Silver must have at least 5 points, Black cannot have any points.
5) At the same time, players will also become bettors and bet the other 40 points on the active roulette prepared by the opponent, which was prepared during the prior turn. When betting on the opponent's roulette, the player may bet on up to two colors, spreading the points any way he/she chooses.
Scoring
1) After each round concludes, the Dealer will reveal the bets for each active roulette and calculate the results.
2) If the winning color was Gold or Silver, players earn the number points they bet on that particular roulette.
3) If the winning color was Black, neither player earns points even if the bettor correctly bets (except through Bonuses, see rule 4 below). The player who prepared that roulette instead takes 40 chips from the opponent minus the number of points bet on Black.
3a) A player's stack can only decrease by 100 chips during the game. However, once a player hits this cap, he/she automatically forfeits (see section "End of Game" for additional information).
3b) If a player owes more chips than he/she has on hand, only the chips on hand will be paid.
3c) If both players set Black as the winning color, only the net profit/loss of chips will move.
3d) A player who prepared Black pays 10 chips (or whatever remains) to the LGT after that roulette's chip movement calculations. This payment does not count towards the 100 chip forfeit cap.
4) Players can earn bonus points. If a bettor bets everything on one color and wins, he/she earns 20 extra points. However, if a bettor fails to bet on the winning color, the opponent earns 20 extra points.
End of Game
1) The player with the most points wins. The tiebreaker is the player who stole more chips through preparing the winning color Black. If the situation is still tied, both players receive half a point for the draw.
2) The winner takes 1 chip from the loser for every 10 points he/she leads over the opponent up to a maximum of the total chips the opponent has on hand. Remainder points are ignored.
3) Alternate win condition: If a player's stack decreases by 100 chips (see section "Scoring" above for more information) through Black payouts, that player automatically forfeits, and the game ends early. In this case, the winner does NOT take any chips from the loser according to points.
Inactivity
1) If a player fails to prepare a roulette, the opponent automatically wins 60 points. The LGT will also take 5 chips as penalty. A player failing to place bets simply bets 0 on each color. If the opponent prepared Black as the winning color for the active roulette, the opponent collects the 40 chips as normal. Inactivity payments do not count toward the 100 chip forfeit cap.
