Highest identical bids sent during the round due take priority over the highest identical bids sent in advance. This is because an advance decision not confirmed during the round it was due will be treated as if it was submitted on the deadline. If the highest identical bids are all advance decisions, we will randomize the winner.
Also, please note that any losing identical bids on the bidding list for a Lot won't necessarily be ordered by time priority.

No. The words are interchangeable. For the sake of consistency, the term "rank" shall be used going forward.
Yes. If a player is unranked, they are treated separately from the ranked players. Unranked players pay 100m to the player ranked first and are then set aside before the payments between ranked players.
In a game of five players, one unranked player and four others will exchange money like so: -The unranked pays 100m to first rank. -Fourth rank is last rank and pays 100m to first rank. -Third rank is second-to-last rank and pays 50m to second rank.
Yes. The LGT will treat such a player as unranked and he/she will be obligated to pay the first rank.

Yes. According to Gameplay rule 4b, "Players may bid on multiple Lots (including their own), but total bids in a Bidding Phase cannot exceed coins on hand. Lots without a bid return to the player."
